Alexandre Esper

Experience

Alexandre Esper is an attorney admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/SP). He has more than 25 years of corporate experience in Legal, Corporate Affairs and Ethics & Compliance in large national and international companies as well as in law firms.

Alexandre has extensive experience across various industries, including retail, technology, construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, real estate, and energy, structuring projects in Brazil and Latin America. He previously served as Vice President of Ethics, Compliance, and Government Relations, as well as a member of the Executive Committee at Walmart; General Counsel and Corporate Affairs Lead/Director at Microsoft; and held other senior executive positions in relevant national companies. In 2019, Alexandre founded, with former Microsoft colleagues, the law firm Esper, Paranhos, Gushiken (EPG Advogados), which associated to Ouro Preto Advogados in 2025.

Alexandre has actively participated in several management and board committees, including the Brazilian Software Association (ABES), the Brazilian Institute of Competitive Ethics (ETCO), and the Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries (ABDIB).

Alexandre holds a degree in Law and Social Sciences from Paulista University (UNIP), a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and an Executive Master’s from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC).
