Pedro Valicente is a lawyer registered with the Rio de Janeiro’s Bar Association and has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2018, specializing in the area of trademarks. His work encompasses providing support to both national and international clients in defending and protecting their rights in Brazil. He offers legal consulting on the feasibility of trademark registrations with the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI, conducts analyses, searches, and technical opinions regarding the validity of intellectual property rights, identifying potential infringements of third-party rights. Additionally, he excels in drafting extrajudicial notifications as well as in the preparation and review of contracts related to trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. His experience also includes managing trademark portfolios abroad, advising on copyright matters, unfair competition, and administrative procedures.
Pedro graduated in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ in 2022 and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC/RJ, with an expected completion in 2025.
